I trained as a nurse and planned to work abroad like my father. The door closed, and a recruitment agency took ₱200,000 from me. I stayed, taught myself the work, and built from Cebu instead.
Today I run a few small businesses. The one most people know is Podcast Engineers, a team handling podcasts for creators and brands worldwide since 2013 that now runs mostly without me. I also co-own Te'Amo Café with my wife Pia and invest in short-stay property through Pacific Living. I am a past president of Cebu South Toastmasters, and I speak and train whenever I get the chance.
