What it's about

Your worth is undeniable, no matter where you're from

It opens with a question every Filipino has heard: “Ano ba gusto mo pag laki?” From there it's a roller coaster: a nursing degree I never wanted, a first online job in 2011 that felt like making it, losing that client three months later, and slowly working out what I was doing wrong.

The turning point wasn't a skill. It was asking better questions and being humble enough to admit I had no idea. That's what grew into Podcast Engineers. The talk is in Taglish, interactive, and built to leave the room believing kaya nila.

“Whatever your goals, kaya nyo yan, and you deserve it.”

Five counterintuitive steps
  1. You are specialIf you don't believe it, who will? Includes a short writing activity.
  2. Don't start freelancing (yet)Work backwards from the life you actually want before choosing a service.
  3. Invest in yourselfSet aside 10 percent, only for knowledge, business, or assets.
  4. Be the dumbest in the roomStop acting like a know-it-all. Ask for help and work with people better than you.
  5. Hold your groundBelief gets tested right before the breakthrough. Don't price yourself down.
